Diamant strongly recommends that all our customers secure their diamonds with their insurance agent at the earliest opportunity.
Expensive items (over Euro 2,000) such as engagement rings should be specifically itemised on an insurance policy if they are to be worn on a daily basis. Simply ask your broker to add the item/s to your home contents insurance and from that moment on you are covered.
You will also have to provide them with an insurance valuation – a document that details the quality and cost of the item should it require replacing.
Diamant provide an insurance valuation for all our customers at the time of purchase but recommends you check with your insurance company on how frequently you will need a reissue
