Resetting your engagement ring?

Resetting your engagement ring?

Have you found yourself glancing at your left hand and thinking you would quite like a bit of a change!! Resetting your diamond is a great way to get a whole new look. We are getting more and more enquiries asking can Diamant provide this service. Whether you have an oval shape, princess or a classic round brilliant diamond, we here in Diamant can show you plenty of styles that you are sure to love.

Deciding to reset or remount a piece of jewellery, something of great sentimental value can be an emotional process, so we do recommend that you do the following before making the final decision.

Research: There are thousands of styles to choose from, so have a look at our website, Diamant.ie and online to see the different styles that stand out to you.

Maximise your diamond: Do you want to add more sparkle? Then add more diamonds either in a halo style or side stones. Is the setting too low? Add a little bit more height

Try them on: This is so important, because most of the time you will decide on a style, try it on and realise it is not for you, because it looks completely different on your hand. You’ll instantly know the one as soon as you put it on your finger.

This is just one example of many, of a recent engagement ring reset that we did:

The original setting was a round brilliant four claw solitaire with split metro set diamond band. They wanted to add more height and sparkle to their design. They decided on a legacy setting, where the diamond is held by four claws and has a pavé set halo and band.

No matter what the shape is of your diamond, it can be remounted into a stunning new setting. For more ideas, have a look at our website, www.diamant.ie and contact us to organise a consultation.
