www.diamant.ie is a website owned and operated by Antwerp Diamonds (Ire) Ltd. and trades under ‘Diamant’. Our head offices are based in Crescent Hall, Mount Street Crescent, Dublin 2, Ireland – Tel 016471119 – Email [email protected].

Terms of Website Use

This document outlines the terms of use under which you can make use of www.diamant.ie.  Please read these terms of use carefully before you start using the site. By using it, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them.

Conflict Diamonds

Antwerp Diamonds (Ire) Ltd. only buys and sells diamonds through polished diamond suppliers (majority based in Antwerp) who adhere to the Kimberly Process . The Kimberley Process unites administrations, civil societies, and industry in reducing the flow of conflict diamonds – ‘rough diamonds used to finance wars against governments’ – around the world.

Terms of Sale and Contract

By making an order on this website, the customer is offering to make a purchase based on the terms and conditions as outlined below. All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price.  No contract for the sale of an item will exist unless Antwerp Diamonds (Ire) Ltd. has accepted the order, and sent confirmation that it has been shipped.  Acceptance of this contract will be considered complete once the item has been dispatched and payment has been taken.

Diamant makes all reasonable efforts to represent products as accurately as possible through descriptions and imagery. Sometimes errors occur and we cannot be held responsible for this.  Diamant also reserves the right to refuse or cancel a sale and refund any money accepted if any details about the item are inaccurate.  We will not be liable for any loss or cost suffered because of this.

We do our best to ensure that all website content is accurate and up to date but sometimes there might be mistakes in prices listed – we do not honour inaccurate prices.  If the price of your item is wrong, we will contact you so that you have the option to pay the accurate price or cancel your order.  If the item has already been shipped, you agree to send it back or pay the difference between the error price and the correct one.  We do not negotiate on pricing.

If you find you need to cancel your order please contact us as soon as possible after you have placed it.  It is possible to cancel your order if we have not yet processed it and shipped the item to your address.

Payment Methods

Payments on www.diamant.ie can be made with most major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard. Payments by bank transfer is also possible.  Please contact us at [email protected] for the transfer details.

Delivery and Insurance

Your order is deemed to be delivered when the items are delivered to your address, not to you personally.  All deliveries must be signed for on arrival as proof of receipt for insurance reasons.  Title of the items will pass to you on delivery if we have received full payment for them.  If your order is returned to us because the courier or postal service could not deliver it for whatever reason, you will be responsible for repeat delivery costs.  Any alternative shipping addresses provided for delivery must be on file with your credit card company to protect against fraud.
